Fabrics & processing.
Types of fabric we use.
Satin is a fine, smooth, shiny fabric. It is usually produced from silk, but can also be made from artificial or synthetic fibres.
Tulle is created by weaving threads to create a see-through yet stable mesh. It can be made from various materials to produce different characteristics, softness or stiffness: e.g. natural fibres such as cotton, silk and/or synthetics like nylon polyester.
Lace is achieved through a special process, which produces a lightweight yet elegant and ornate decorative fabric.
Viscose is an artificial fibre produced from cellulose. It is silky soft to touch and provides the comfort that is typical of vegetable fibres. It is wear-resistant, absorbent and doesn't irritate skin.
Did you know that 98% of our garments are made in our own factory in Ireland?
Thanks to the internal management of the production process, we can maintain the control over the different stages of the production chain.
Thanks to this approach, we are able to share precise information about the origin of our products in total transparency. On the product page of each product, there is a special section called "traceability", containing the details of the production plant where the garment was made.
Garment care.
Taking care of Isabela Shann products...
We are using delicate fabrics and special accessories to create your lingerie & nightwear. Proper care helps maintain their structure. Here are some tips to keep them in shape!
The perfect drawer.
The lingerie is a very delicate garment that needs special care
The arrangement of the garments in the drawers is essential for good care. Tops, shorts and slip dresses can be folded one onto the other or hang on hanger.
Washing.
- If possible, wash your lingerie in warm water with the right amount of mild detergent. In this way the color of the garment will not fade and you will prevent the whites from turning gray;
- Never wring the lingerie, especially the padded bras, instead, let them drain away from heat sources, you will avoid losing the elasticity and shape of the fabric. Remember that once extracted from the water you will have to arrange the garment to give it back its original shape;
- Use a washing machine bag (if you don't already have one you can BUY IT ONLINE), you will avoid damaging the garment;
- Carefully follow the indications on the temperatures indicated on the label and use mild detergents;
- Do not tumble dry in the washing machine or dryer;
